I liked that movie. Mostly because I like the main actress in it. She usually does good work, but this is the first time I saw her in a leading role.

I don’t believe in “the one” either. I think successful relationships past the first physical attraction and “puppy love” stages are based on hard work, not some silly notion of fate, or that you have to find 1 person out of 6 billion in order to be happy. But I think I’d get the timer. Why not? It would tell me how much longer I had to be free. Although it would kind of suck if you got it implanted and it read -2 years. oops.

Okay, so to the question at hand. I don’t think I would want to know. It’s like knowing the exact date you’re going to die. If it’s in 50 years- Woo Hoo! Live it up! But, what if it’s in 2 weeks? What would you do? I think the art of trying to con somone into buying you dinner is a lot more fullfilling if you don’t have to worry that they’re “the one”.

Hmmm that is a good question(s) to ponder. I’ve never believed in “the one” or “soulmate.” You can have very close connections to different people at different points in your life. That can also be the case in couple relationships as well.

Besides, can’t life be about the journey and the destination? Because sometimes when you have reached a destination, another journey begins.

Look at me being all philosophical and such.

This is why I don’t call myself pro-life. I don’t want to be associated with nut jobs. My solution to abortion: birth control. Birth control for everyone! Comprehensive sex ed! I’m screaming at the screen right now!

I was going to volunteer at the local pregnancy center but you have to sign saying you share beliefs, which include birth control not being appropriate for those who are single. And by the way, if you’re married you should discuss your bc options with your PASTOR and doctor. I love my Jesus, but let’s get real here.

Is it wrong that I want a Tim Burton to my Helena Bonham Carter, minus child but with same living arrangements…side-by-side abodes with a connecting door.

I just don’t believe marriage and all its trappings are for me and I KNOW that kids aren’t.

I think some part of me has resigned myself to the fact that I more than likely will be single (as in without a partner) for a majority of my life. It’s not something I love thinking, but it’s something I’ve come to accept and I’ve created a pretty good life for myself because of that acceptance.

My skin is going through a really bad phase at the moment. It’s like elderly cancer patient bad, I do’nt knwo what’s going on. So I’m just a bit, hellow foundation, at the moment. At least when I go out.

And you look great without it! Though this isn’t fair since I’ve no idea waht you look like with it, either.

I don’t think it’s always about hiding. I do think, though, that we’ve been conditioned to think that we need it and we’re supposed to wear it.
